Kylie Cosmetics Highlighters - loose and pressed

I adore a great glow.

What I have discovered on my search for the "perfect" glow, is that every highlighter has a different purpose. It's not a one-size-fits-all kind of deal!

Every skin tone looks good in a glow, but the color of the highlighter really does matter. Just something to consider. For example, I look best in golden or peachy/rosey colors, but not so much in certain pinks.

Some days you may want that super poppin glam, then other days you just want a subtle shine. You may have a golden undertone like me or a cool, yellow, pink, peach, and other undertones.

Below are a few swatches of the current 4 types of pressed KylieCosmetics highlighters I own

I definitely would have to say that I believe this pairs well when I apply some sparkly gloss on the lips, with a little highlighter on the bow.

PRICE

Pressed Kylighters: $22

Ultra Glows: $14

As you can tell, the loose powder is somewhat less pigmented than the pressed, but if you first apply the pigmented then top it off with the loose Kylighter, then it will REALLY pop.

TIPS

Apply the Ultra Glows on top of the pressed Kylighters for an extreme glow, with a loose brush.

For a subtle glow, use a beauty sponge for controlled application.

To strut your stuff with very moveable glows, use a fan brush to highlight your best features using the Ultra Glows.

Use a light spray of water on the brushes if you want a smoother application.
