The Best Darn Pizza Recipe

Here we are… to a diet breaking, keto destroying, and buckle busting pizza. While many cannot eat this all the time due to calories, sometimes a really good cheat meal is what you need. This will be your go-to pizza for the rest of your life, and you’ll never go back to any other recipe.


  • 2- 3 cups of Bread flour (all-purpose will not work. So don’t even try me.)

  • 4 - 6 TBSP of Olive oil (organic)

  • 1 packet of Instant rise yeast

  • 2 jars of Jar Goods Vegan Vodka Style tomato sauce

  • 2 TBSP of Organic Sugar

  • Parmesan cheese (freshly shredded or grated)

  • 2-3 bags shredded mozzarella cheese (not pictured)

  • 2 cans of canned diced tomatoes/with green chilies

  • Fresh mushrooms sliced

  • Fresh bell peppers diced/or julienne sliced

  • Valentinas Mexican hot sauce

  • 1 - 2 TSP of Garlic Powder

  • 3/4 cup of warm (not hot!!) water. TIP: water should be warm enough to touch, cool enough to drink. Hot water will kill the yeast and prevent it from rising.

  • 1 TSP of fine salt

  • 1 TSP Red Pepper flakes

  • Whole tomatoes cut into chunks

  • Italian seasoning

  • Pepperoncini slices

  • Carne (optional, pepperoni etc)


prep by bringing out all the ingredients. clean the veggies. place large bowl on counter and bring out cutting board.

scoop 1 cup of flour into bowl, and add yeast packet, sugar, salt, olive oil, and slightly warm water.

stir with wooden spoon gently, and slowly add 1 more cup of flour until mixture is doughy. If needed, add a tablespoon more of olive oil until consistency is into a non-sticky dough ball. add 1 more cup of flour if desired.

add in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and 1 more tbsp of olive oil until dough is acquired, non-sticky, and fluffy. dough should be not sticking to sides of bowl. If it is, then add a little more oil until it is smooth. roll into ball form. TIP: the more oil used, the flakier this crust will be. ultimately, the dough must not be overly sticky or dry. the proper consistency here is key. (dough pictured below)

drizzle olive oil onto sides of bowl, and place a wet towel loosely over bowl to cover. Let stand at room temp for approximately 30 MINUTES.

PREHEAT oven for 425 fahrenheit.

once the 30 minutes are up, roll out and knead dough for 1-2 minutes. add flour by the tablespoons (1-2) to prevent sticking onto cutting board, and for an easier roll out. roll out dough into two pizzas or 1 large pizza. *Size and serving will vary on amount of flour used. If you have excess dough, either store it in the fridge for later, or make another pizza.

bring large pizza pan or non-stick square pan (as pictured). lay out dough into pan(s) until it covered the entire pan. pour vodka style sauce onto dough. (1 jar=1 pizza. 2 jars=for 2 pizzas.)

layer with: Italian seasoning, a few sliced mushrooms/fresh tomatoes/bell peppers, pepperoncini peppers, 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies (1 can per pizza), drizzle Valentinas hot sauce (not too much), and 1-2 bags of motz cheese. roll the corners to make the crust around the pizza thick and delicious.

BAKE for 15-17 MINUTES or until golden. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top over everything even the crust. Do not undercook or overcook. You will know it is done when it resembles the picture below.
