Too Faced Born This Way Foundation 4 Shades Honest Review Maple, Almond, Sand, Golden Beige
PRICE: $39 each
I am currently using Golden Beige, and I use Almond as a concealer. Almond was way too light for my skin and gave me a weird white cast in natural light. The Sand I used during the summer when I tanned outside. Both the Golden Beige, Almond, and Sand have a golden undertone to them, but they all lack the same thing: AN OLIVE UNDERTONE. I have a medium olive/golden skin tone naturally, and even this looks too golden or like I said with the Almond, a white cast. Please, Too Faced…. GIVE ME OLIVE WITH A GOLDEN SPLASH OF GOODNESS.
For my madre, the Maple was a big disappointment. The overpowering red/orange undertones made this oxidize into a weird fake spray tan like color. She has a dark olive/golden/reddish skin and this just didn’t make the cut. We’re still looking for that perfect shade so if anyone has any recommendations as to what might work, comment below!
I adore the glass bottle, with pump top. I would love this in a squeeze tube option!
It pumps thick and applies thick. So, use sparingly! It is not oily, and dries velvety. I would suggest this for those with dry to combination skin.
The Golden Beige shade will do for me now, but until Too Faced creates an Olive Skin tone line my madre and I will be patiently waiting….. waiting…. waiting... waiting.. waiting.
